IA is a brand new London based label, owned and run by Clare Thwaites; DJ Clare Large.
IA is the product of 14 years in the dance scene, dancing, raving, partying, chatting, listening, thinking, and reacting to the incredible energy that I feel from it.
It’s also come from 10 years DJing all over the world, and the knowledge that we all are emotionally attached to music, in our own way. This label is my contribution to the dance scene based on my life experiences to date.
The vision for the label is to release every 2 months, quality, consistent, well produced, excellently and excitingly programmed, amazing inspiring electronic music. I intend to build IA as an interesting brand where people know they will get quality from wonderful artists, but not the specific ‘genre’.
Releases will be vinyl only for the first 2 months, then digital simultaneously with the next vinyl release. Please support the vinyl. :-)

I intend to release any sort of electronica that has soul, emotion, and that makes me groove, and smile. If you would like to send me a demo please send me an email first detailing exactly what you do and if it sounds interesting and the sort of sounds Im trying to push I would love to hear it!

Live shows coming soonClare Large has been resident at a fab underground night in Bristol, Ripsnorter, for about 7 years. She is honoured that the official label launch party will be there, with a full Trademark and Forces of Nature live set, for as long as they will let us play for, alongside DJ sets from Clare Large, Tony Reeves and more!! At a fantastic venue, so party date pending on venue.... Also please stay tuned for potential dates at a secret location on the Bournemouth coastline this summer....quality grooves just how it should be.... Plus loads more tbc... |
